  1. If I don't know someone's email address, how can I find it?
    A. While Internet directories are an option; the best solution is to contact the person directly (by phone). If this is not a possibility, try a web site that does people searches, like Big Foot at www.bigfoot.com.

  2. Can I add an address to my address book directly from their email?
    A. Every email program works a little differently, but most programs will allow you to do this. In Outlook or Outlook Express (Windows and Mac), right-click any email message and select the option to address book (Mac users need to control-click). This is worth a try in other in email programs.

  3. Can I print a phone list of addresses from my address book without sending any email?
    A. Every email program works a little differently, but most programs will allow you to do this. In Outlook or Outlook Express (Windows and Mac), open up the address book by clicking on the address book folder or click on the address book tool from the toolbar. Select Print from the File menu. Outlook offers three different styles to print this information out. In addition, your Outlook address book information can be used as a data source in a Word mail merge, for example to do mailing labels.

  4. Will my Palm hand-held work with Outlook or Outlook Express?
    A. Yes. For Mac users of Outlook Express 5, the program has built-in support for Palm synchronization; it should be ready to go. For Windows users, install and follow instructions for the synchronization software included with your Palm.

  5. What is Stationary in Outlook/Outlook Express?
    A. Outlook and Outlook Express has built-in formatting for email called stationary. Stationary provides easy to use, sophisticated, and beautiful formatting for email messages. It creates the email in a HTML format. Warning: not all email programs support HTML email messages. Outlook and Outlook Express does.
